Týdeník Televize is a traditional TV guide with a history that stretches back to 1965. Every week its new, modern appearance provides readers with a clearly-arranged, in-depth TV guide for the whole of the following week. To help readers find their way around 50 TV channels there are plenty of recommendations of what to watch and previews of the best films, serials, documentaries, reports and programmes for children and sports fans. On top of all that the magazine has some quality reading - original interviews with leading actors, news about programmes being made and those being aired and about the people involved, a look back at legendary Czech (and Slovak) television and film-making, a peek behind the scenes and at the latest cinema premieres and other services to satisfy even the most demanding of readers and viewers.

The magazine has been involved in the traditional TýTý television awards since 1992, giving readers and television viewers the chance to vote for their favourite television actors, singers, presenters and programmes.
