Bauer Media is the largest magazine publisher in the Czech Republic. It publishes 21 magazines and a number of popular specials. The company is the market leader in the programme titles, social weeklies and youth magazines segments. A significant part of the portfolio is the magazines for women segment, which includes lifestyle magazines, service magazines and magazines with stories.
Bauer Media publishing house sold 73 million copies in 2010, read by 3.2 million readers*. Bauer Media is also active in the electronic media, where it runs a group of websites for teenagers and TV guide web Televize.cz.

Bauer Media v.o.s. publishing house was founded in 1991 as the subsidiary of Bauer Media Group, a global group with a tradition that stretches back 125 years. This media concern publishes a total of 308 magazines in 14 countries and employees some 9000 members of staff.
